How it Works

Water Genie is a wireless, two-unit system that connects to your water pump and storage tank. The Main Unit links to your starter panel or on/off switch, while the Sensor Unit is placed over the water tank with three sensors hanging inside. These sensors work in harmony to:

Easy Installation Proces of Water Genie

Manual Installation

A. Connecting the Main Device

Locate the 7 wires on the main device: 2 green, 2 black, 2 red, and 1 white.
Leave the white wire loose, forming a spring-like coil, to send & receive signals from the sensor device
Open your starter panel and connect the two green wires to the start button's (Green) two points
Remove one wire from the starter panel's red button and connect it to one of the red wires on the main device. Then, connect the main device's second red wire to the point where you removed the original wire
Connect the two black wires to the power strip inside the starter panel, one to the neutral and one to the face wire

B. Connecting the Sensor Device

Drill a 1-inch diameter hole in the center of your tank's lid
Pass the sensor unit's three sensors through the hole and hang them inside the tank.
Set sensor A as neutral
Adjust sensor B's length to the desired low water level (recommended at 30% of tank capacity)
Set sensor C 1 inch below the tank's overflow point.
Leave the white signal wire loose, forming a spring-like coil
Secure the sensor device to the tank's lid using four screws

Operation

Turn the button on the main device to the "ON" position
Your device is now ready to automatically start and stop the motor based on water levels
When the water level falls below sensor B, the sensor device sends a signal to start the motor
When the water level reaches sensor C, the sensor device sends a signal to stop the motor

Manual Override

To wash your car, floor, or take a fresh water bath, turn the main device's switch to the "OFF" position
Use the starter panel's green and red buttons to manually control the motor
To return to automatic mode, turn the main device's switch back to the "ON" position
